In December 2006 we packed up and moved from New Jersey to Florida, even if only temporarily. Disney World is my family at home away from home and, believe me, every time we go back to "The World" thanks to the smiling faces and friendly greetings from all employees of Disney encounter. What made this particular trip was different from that for the first time we were Disney experience a whole new way: as part of the feast, twinkling lights and decorations of the season. It 'wasa journey we never forget all. One that raises the bar for all future trips to Disney World would come to set a trip to believe, was to be tested.
If you are a Disney Phil are like me and enjoy Disney World in the summer months, even as I do, I can honestly say that you can not see Disney World before visiting during the holidays. I know, inside Disney World-and-out. For those who have our travel plans to Orlando, I read countless guides providedReservations to the number of eight months in advance and made our daily routes up to the minute. Okay, maybe I have a little 'carried away, but the point I am trying to make is that when it comes to all things Disney, I'm the resident expert. My wife Kayce is to win quickly for me, just returned from the College of Disney Knowledge graduate, but I'm not ready to give up the crown yet.
When we arrived at Disney World in December 2006, our collective jaws on the floor.Practically everything was decorated for the season, the street lights lining Main Street USA, the shape of trees, lobbies and restaurants in different areas of personalities and habits of CSR clothes. For the first time in Disney vacation, I could see a complete loss of what the initial experience. There was so much to do, everything was new and fresh, as if we had never been there.
We were, in fact, use some services-Disneyand options that we had never used before and, for us, this made our holiday more memorable. These switches are highly recommended by me, and for audiophiles Disney are a must complete. you may have are not only comfortable and save time and money to help your journey, you look better and your family on holiday spirit and experience at Disney was the removal of certain obstacles in the way while traveling and last carving new experiences can was no different.
Disney'sMagical Express
Disney had just rolled their Magical Express shuttle service, he was eager to try it. If you are not familiar with Magical Express, how it works is: Disney offers special baggage tags before the trip that you set the checked baggage. After arriving at the airport in Orlando, there is no need to go to baggage claim. Instead line reserves an area of the airport in Orlando for visitors to Disney Disney's Magical Express busShuttle buses to take to deliver your holiday destination. Your luggage will be recorded separately and is delivered directly to your room. On departure, the shuttle and collect their baggage and taken to the airport for your journey home. The buses are clean and comfortable and equipped with LCD screens playing classic Disney cartoons and informative news and offers tips for your next trip to Disney World. Disney's Magical Express is a free service for guests flying Orlando Resort to work with SELECTAirlines.
Disney's Dining Plan
Another novelty was Disney's Dining Plan, which offers guests a daily credit for meals and snacks. As a budget conscious family of five, taking advantage of the Disney dining plan allows us to upscale restaurants that might otherwise have avoided the experience. Removes one of the most problematic aspects of our experience: the search for food. Because we did not, where we ate because of price concerns, we were able to do research and diningReservations at various restaurants in the pleasant months in advance for the whole family. To remain in a position away from fast-food options, we discovered that we were eating better and healthier. We experienced character food for the first time, and even eaten Christmas dinner with Mickey and his friends at Chef Mickey's. Disney's Dining Plan was for us free of charge for the service, because the time we booked our trip, and was a member offered some free for guests during the months of traveling off-peakAugust-December time. Disney recently announced its plan the structure of animal eats changed, allowing for cheaper options, and is a useful complement to spa guests. I recommend it, especially during the holiday season, when Disney will send special meals on their menus are not available at any other time of year.
Christmas Party Mickey's Very Merry
During select days in November and December, Disney World will open its doors to Mickey's Very MerryChristmas Party. These events are not the regular cost of tickets are included and are purchased separately from your individual parking passes. For a family of five, the cost can be very steep (current prices are $ 52 pp for 10 years and $ 46 pp ages 3-9, plus tax), but we found the experience to be worth the cost. Select rides are open to cardholders and gave us a great opportunity to visit attractions without waiting times. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade was veryEntertainment. Everyone loves a parade, and Disney really pulls the stops with this every year, provides only the blizzard hit the Orlando area. Our children enjoyed the visit restaurants free cookies and hot chocolate, and a special holiday greeting spectacular fireworks before our limited very special evening.
The show of Dancing Lights Osborne Family
I can one hand the number of times I counted no words to the point, unable to speak in my leftLife: Once when my beautiful wife, who has seen three times, gave birth to our children and the fabulous time that the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights married. I can not adequately express in words the experience we have felt watching this event unfold. You see millions of lights synchronized bespeckling building can, as far as the eye moved to the music seamlessly holiday schedule and will not even begin to understand the magic of this event offers. The Osborne FamilyLight show found a few days of November to January at Disney's Hollywood Studios. E 'in the park entrance.
Candlelight Processional Way
Some nights in November and December, you should see the light of candles Processional Way, a Christian-themed hotel is the story of Christmas, at the America Gardens Theatre at Epcot. Each show is a special guest narrator (ours was Neal Patrick Harris, Doogie Howser who remain forever for me), theThe subjects are then told by a mass choir and 50 piece orchestra live. Admission is free, but be sure to plan far in the vicinity of the America Gardens Theatre before his time, the line begins to form in the late afternoon and attend a select number of guests. If you have young children, most of the show is lost on them, and the orchestra may be sitting too high so close to the bottom if they are sensitive to loud sounds.
Holiday World
DuringYou are in Epcot, be sure to visit the holidays around the world and more holiday traditions of other countries. Walking under the bright lights synchronized to the Winter World Showcase and visit the tree lighting ceremony, which takes place every evening. Like everything else, display Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is appropriate for holiday themes, the claim of a new vision for the fireworks at the end of each evening.
It can only be seen as much and do Disney Worldduring the winter holidays. You will be impressed, no doubt, and even reverence is based on the special details Disney on almost every aspect of your Holiday, as amended by the parade and fireworks at large Christmas trees and wrapped presents placed in the park overflowing with glittering decorations and construction furniture. I just have something to see and do and can not even begin to experience the truth that prejudice, like so many families who have traveledto Disney World on vacation, they had. Experience Like most things in life by Disney in this special time of year, you really believe. But now the time to act: Disney offers a very special price when you book your vacation soon. You too can experience all the memorable things I have mentioned and more. And if it adorns the Orlando International Airport, I arrived in the spirit of the holidays, you too will believe.
